And Mr Asch was right. I have discovered in some minor way what authors mean when they talk about “writer’s block”. I suppose it’s Blogger’s Block. Quite a few things to say, let’s be in no doubt about that, but not a bit of me wants to write it all down. I can muster a few effort-reduced amusing web links for you, but that seems about it.
Hopefully, I’ll clear the blockage soon, but meanwhile in concluding this ironical post I shall merely point you to Boriswatch, in the vain hope you may find something interesting there…

BBC drops Oxford vs Cambridge boat race. Good bloody grief. “Why?” I thought. Loads of people watch it. And then, over at The Guardian, a different take on the story: BBC sunk in boat race row. Seems that ITV have won the rights – funny how a little spin goes a long way…
